When someone dies, the church is here for you — whether or not the person who died was a churchgoer, and whether or not you are.
St Barnabas is part of the Ouzel Valley Team Ministry. The main point of contact for funerals is the team administrator, who will help you arrange a service and put you in touch with a minister.
Most families arrange a funeral through a funeral director, who will usually make the first contact with us on your behalf. But you are very welcome to speak to us directly at any point, before or afterwards, and there is no charge for that conversation.

In the days and months afterwards
Grief does not keep to a timetable. If you would like someone to talk to, or simply somewhere quiet to sit, the clergy team are glad to hear from you at any time — months or years later just as much as in the first week.
You are also welcome to send a prayer request, in confidence or to be shared with the congregation.
