St Barnabas in Linslade is an active and friendly Anglican Church with a sizeable congregation covering a broad spectrum, from those coming from a non-conformist background to members of our Walsingham Cell.
Families are most welcome. At the 10am Eucharist there is a crèche for the youngest children, Sunday School for primary school children and the Barnacles club for older children. On the third Sunday of each month the 10am Eucharist is a less formal All Age Eucharist.

Ways to giveIf you have never been to a church service before, you are exactly the sort of person we are glad to see. Come as you are, sit where you like, and join in as much or as little as you wish. Someone on the door will give you everything you need.

We are fortunate to be custodians of not one but two historic churches, both once supported by populations much smaller than today.
The parish church, built as Linslade grew around the railway station and the canal. It is spacious, has a fine organ, a large car park, and stands less than five minutes' walk from the train station. Christians gather here to worship God Sunday by Sunday, and day by day.
The original twelfth century parish church, a mile away across the fields. It is still used for occasional services and for weddings between May and September, and is looked after by the Friends of St Mary's. The churchyard is managed to encourage a rich variety of wild flowers.

We want to know God's love in our worship, and witness to it in our life as a community, and in our engagements with those around us. We want to help more people to know God's love and respond to it with joy.
But God is always calling us onwards into new life, to try new things, and to examine where we are. We welcome new ideas and new people into our fellowship.
